Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi Diploma in pharmacy (D.Pharm) is a 2 yrs program duration after 10+2 (science stream) which includes 2 yrs of academic study followed by practical training in hospitals for 3 months. Diploma in Pharmacy is the minimum qualification required to practice or work as a pharmacist in India.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. B.Pharm- is a four year regular course aimed to train the students for focusing on synthetic and herbal drug discovery, formulation development, quality assurance and pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacology and toxicology, pharmaceutical management and marketing. Regular theory and practical sessions followed by internal assessment and semester examinations are being conducted as per Pharmacy council of India regulations. The course includes one month internship/ practical training and industrial visit.
B.Pharm
As per the rules and regulations of The Tamilnadu Dr M.G.R Medical University, Chennai/ Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai, Government of Tamilnadu, Chennai.
Candidate shall have passed HSC examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology or Mathematics subjects.40% aggregate marks in the above subjects is mandatory. 35% aggregate marks for SC & ST Candidates. Candidate should have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
