There is an urgent need to prepare the management students for jobs in multinational companies, by exposing them to newer technologies and managing methodologies. It also creates a channel for companies to tap into a large and relevant talent pool easily and in a cost-effective manner. The program enhances the employability quotient of the students and strengthens their institutional value. Every Saturday students of PPG Business School visit their company and help the company in their various departmental processes.
MBA is all about leadership and self-governance. PPG students are to take up some business venture and to work on it every Sunday. Whereas on Saturdays they learn to work as employees, on Sundays, they run their own business even if in minuscule form to gain nuances of running a business.
Every student will be provided with a specific amount by the college to carry out a business activity on Sunday. The students are required to present a report on the activity undertaken on Monday. The student can take their profit returning the initial amount to the college. This activity assists the student to attempt at new business or new venture creation.
