About the Programme
The Computer Science with Data analytics programme is established in our PPG College of Arts and Science in 2022. The course is aimed to provide a student with the fundamentals of computer science and Data analytical techniques. It also teaches problem-solving abilities through the use of computational approaches. Students will gain a thorough understanding of the key technologies in data analytics and business analytics, statistical analysis methods and tools, how to create meaningful visual representations of data, data mining, text mining, and web mining concepts and approaches. Due to the high demand of the programme and cutting edge of this curriculum, the programme is extremely competitive in business analyst and decision making in business.
Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
The B.Sc. Computer Science with Data Analytics program describe accomplishments that graduates are expected to attain within five to seven years after graduation.
PEO1 Develop in depth understanding of the key technologies in data science and business analytics: data mining, machine learning, visualization techniques, predictive modeling, and statistics
PEO2 Apply principles of Data Science to the analysis of business problem
PEO3 Demonstrate knowledge of statistical data analysis techniques utilized in business decision making.
