SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIZATION CLUB

About us

Environmental Education, Awareness and Training plays a significant role in encouraging and enhancing people’s participation in activities aimed at conservation, protection and management of the environment, essential for achieving sustainable development. The main aim of establishing the Social and Environment Sensitization Club was to conserve the natural resources and the natural environment to create Eco friendly environment and create awareness of biodiversity conservation and local environmental issues among students and to create a clean and green consciousness among students through various innovative methods.

Vision:

The club will be committed towards raising social awareness regarding environmental issues and changing students’ attitude towards the environment by enlisting their active participation in club’s activities.

Mission:

  1. Sensitize students to changing roles, inculcate secular values and nurture spirit of collaboration.
  2. Offer conducive learning environment to tap student’s innate potentialities, talents and enhance leadership qualities.
  3. To get the students actively involved in environmental matters and to develop their interest over environmental issues
  4. To inculcate proper attitude with regard to environment and its conservation through action-based programmes.
  5. To instill a sense of responsibility for the environment and a personal commitment to protect and preserve the environment.
